Titanium is one of the strongest and long-lasting materials on planet Earth. It is inert and completely resistant to corrosion. Since titanium doesn't react with salt water, sunlight or body chemistry, feel free to wear it to the beach or in any elements... titanium can handle it. Even the most sensitive skin can wear this ring, since titanium is completely bio-compatible (hypoallergenic). This non-ferrous metals is also, VERY resistant to deforming...you can hit it with a hammer with medium force and the hammer will bounce right off the ring. Titanium can scratch, but is much more scratch resistant than silver, gold, or platinum. Keep in mind scratches are superficial and can be easily polished out.
