This is a black ceramic ring, inlayed with prehistoric megalodon fossil, mother of pearl, pyrite, amazonite, blue apatite, blue iridescent opal, and blue glow powder. This specific ring design starts with a central piece of mother of pearl, which is ensconced with pyrite, followed by Megalodon fossil, then Amazonite and Apatite, then iridescent blue opal in the back part of the ring. Choose between an 8mm wide (standard men's width) ring or a 6mm wide (standard women's width) ring.
This ring is MADE-TO-ORDER so please allow me 1-2 weeks to perfect your ring. Keep in mind the ring I make for you will not be exactly like the picture, but it will convey the same mood/energy/atmosphere.
ABOUT THE MATERIALS:
Black ceramic is a hard, lightweight and wonderfully lustrous material that is endowed with superb scratch resistance. It has a rounded inner surface, making it extremely comfortable to wear. It is non-metallic so those who have skin allergies or are sensitive to certain metals will be happy campers. One thing to keep in mind is that since ceramic rings are a bit harder, they are also slightly more brittle. So be careful about dropping it on a hard surfaces or hitting it with a hammer. However it's worth noting, ceramic is harder and LESS brittle than tungsten. If you are a person who does manual labor for a living, this might be a good choice for you - you can beat it up without it scratching easily.
This Megalodon is an extinct species of shark that lived approximately 23 to 3.6 million years ago. The fossil used in this ring is a tooth fragment found by a diver in North Carolina.
Mother of Pearl is the shiny, iridescent material produced by some mollusks as an inner shell layer. It is s strong, resilient, and iridescent material...the same material of which pearls are composed. A powerful spiritual "stone" that offers protection and brings in the healing powers of the sea. Blue Apatite is associated with the throat chakra and is a motivational stone, promoting independence and ambitiousness.
Pyrite has long been valued as a strong protection stone that shields the wearer from negative energy as well as environmental pollutants. Thus, this stone helps promote physical well-being as well. Stimulating the second and third chakras, pyrite enhances strength of mind and willpower.
I also added a glow pigment to this ring that glows blue when activated by UV light/sunlight.
